Our little family

Yesterday after Kellen's nap we drove to Felton, a little town in the Santa Cruz mountains. I always wanted to see the Felton Covered Bridge, which if I remember correctly is the tallest wood covered bridge in the country. Anyway, here are a couple of pictures. One of our little family (usually I'm never in them) and one of our cute little WILD boys.

It's so sweet to look at pictures of your kids and fall in love all over again. They can be so crazy at times, but they are the sweetest little boys too. How can you not love them?

Pictures of the lot

Here are some pictures of the lot. It's kind've hard to see exactly what it looks like, but it's the best I can do. The first picture is looking out from our lot to our neighbors within the cul-de-sac. The second picture is looking at our lot from the street. I hope that all makes sense.

We're Moving!

Many of you know already, but rather than update everyone individually I figured this would be a perfect time to create a blog with the latest and greatest happenings of the Scott Clan.

Why are we moving and where?

We're moving to Castle Rock, CO, a suburb south of Denver. (For you Bay Area residents or those familiar with the area it's as far south as Gilroy is to San Jose.) We're having a house built in a new development called The Meadows (http://www.meadowscastlerock.com/) and our lot is located at the end of a cul-de-sac with beautiful views of the Front Range, aka the Rockies. We've learned there are a ton of young children on our street so we're really excited to move there once the house is built. Which won't be until probably February.

We decided to leave good 'ol California for a variety of reasons, our family is leaving the state, half my family is in Colorado, it's a great central location for the rest of our family, Rick can telecommute and quality of life.

Here's a picture of the model home we'll have built. The 2-car garage is located where the Captial Pacific awning is in this picture and then the one-car garage is located where the 3 long rectangular windows are located in the front of the house.
I'll post more pictures once I figure out why it keeps failing.

Ciao!
